Job Description
About the role
We're looking for a Software Developer to join our client's engineering team in Bengaluru. You'll work on full-stack applications, building responsive frontends with React.js and robust backends with Python, while gaining hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and containerization.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain user-facing features using React.js and modern JavaScript
- Build scalable backend services and APIs using Python
- Design and optimize database schemas for application needs
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS, leveraging services like EC2, S3, and RDS
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployment pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into clean, maintainable code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering practices
What we're looking for
- 1–4 years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in React.js and Python
- Solid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Docker
- Ability to write clean, testable code and debug issues effectively
- Comfortable working in an agile environment and collaborating with teammates
Nice to have
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with microservices architecture
- Contributions to open-source projects
- Understanding of system design principles
