AES Guidewire Senior Developer (Digial Portals) Associate Operate

Overview

Contribute to the design, build, support and enhancement of Guidewire digital portal solutions for insurance clients within PwC's Advisory practice, as an Associate supporting senior team members at PwC Acceleration Center India.

What you'll do

• Develop and customize Guidewire digital portal features for insurance clients.
• Code, configure and test application changes across Guidewire platform components.
• Support Guidewire implementation, enhancement and production support activities for insurance clients.
• Develop and configure Guidewire BillingCenter, PolicyCenter or ClaimCenter components based on project requirements.
• Troubleshoot application issues, analyze defects and implement code fixes across digital portal and integration layers.
• Participate in software development tasks using established development methods and delivery tools.
• Review functional and technical requirements to translate business needs into workable application changes.
• Collaborate with team members to test solutions, validate results and document technical findings.
• Apply AI-enabled automation and digital tooling to improve support workflows and reduce manual effort.
• Learn new platform features, technical standards and service approaches to strengthen delivery skills.
• Encourage everyone to have a voice and invite opinion from all, including quieter members of the team.
• Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations.
• Initiate open and candid coaching conversations at all levels.
• Move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail.

What you'll need

• Good experience in Guidewire Digital Portals and working knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter and ContactManager integrations.
• JDP (Jutro Development Platform), React JavaScript framework, TypeScript.
• JEST (testing framework) and IDE familiarity for using Guidewire Digital solutions.
• GOSU, Guidewire Event and Rules Framework and Guidewire Web Services.
• At least a Bachelor's degree.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Oral and written proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Demonstrates abilities and extensive Application Managed Service projects and solutioning across the Guidewire Suite of applications on premises and SaaS, with proven success executing all aspects of complex engagements, achieving on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Demonstrates abilities providing solution strategy and Application Evolution Services (AES, formerly AMS) delivery as a Senior Guidewire Developer, thinking of themselves as a trusted advisor and strategically creating value using the Guidewire Suite.
• Demonstrates abilities delivering Guidewire application solutions, navigating both business processes and enterprise solution perspectives with a holistic view.
• Demonstrates abilities developing scalable and robust Guidewire solution strategies in a hybrid IT landscape (on premises and Cloud).
• Preference for at least one field of study: Actuarial Science, Business Administration/Management, Business Analytics, Commerce, Computer and Information Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering & Accounting, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Engineering and Business, Finance, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management/Research, Risk Management, Software App, Statistics.
• At least one of: Guidewire or Scrum Master certification.
• Completing coursework in Guidewire platforms and digital portals.
• Demonstrating interest in Guidewire BillingCenter, ClaimCenter or PolicyCenter.
• Developing skills in software development, integrations and configuration.
• Applying analytical thinking to support client implementation tasks.
• Adapting quickly in fast-paced, team-based consulting environments.
