Overview
Full Stack SDE II role in Sigmoid’s Product Engineering team building scalable, reliable, user-centric web applications.
What you'll do
- Design and build responsive, high-performance web interfaces using React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Shadcn UI.
- Develop API services using Node.js or Python (FastAPI).
- Model, query, and optimize relational data structures in PostgreSQL.
- Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Write maintainable, scalable code using SOLID principles and clean code practices.
- Implement test suites using Jest, React Testing Library, or PyTest.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams while mentoring junior engineers.
What you'll need
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Shadcn UI.
- Experience with client-side state management and data fetching using TanStack Query, Zustand, or Redux Toolkit.
- Strong server-side development expertise using Node.js or Python (FastAPI).
- Experience with ORMs or query builders such as Prisma, Drizzle, TypeORM, or SQLAlchemy.
- Strong expertise in PostgreSQL relational database modeling, query optimization, indexing, and management.
- Practical experience applying SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean architecture principles.
- Solid API design knowledge including authentication/authorization using OIDC and OAuth 2.0.
Nice to have
- Experience with caching strategies using Redis or exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Exposure to GraphQL, microservices architecture, and event-driven patterns (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Knowledge of web security best practices (OWASP Top 10, OAuth2, JWT) and web performance optimization.
