Applied HVAC Solutions Engineer

Overview

Applied HVAC Solutions Engineer focused on commercial HVAC application training and technical support for specification and bid processes.

What you'll do

• Develop and deliver technical presentations, seminars, and workshops for design and engineering audiences.
• Build and maintain a library of application tools, guides, software tutorials, BIM object libraries, and master specifications.
• Provide specialized training on commercial RTUs, VRF, and WSHP systems and related industry trends.
• Serve as a technical authority for HVAC application and design guidance to internal teams and external partners.
• Support specification community with system design, energy modeling, and project-specific specification development.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Quality on new products, system updates, and evolving codes/standards.

What you'll need

• 3-5 years of relevant HVAC industry experience.
• Strong commercial system design and application background.
• Experience working with engineering firms and understanding the bid-spec process.
• Expertise in system design/specification of light commercial RTUs, WSHP systems, and/or 3-phase VRF systems.
• Experience in technical training, application engineering, or specification-focused sales.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
