Apprentice graduate opportunity for Finance Graduates at State Street, with structured development toward becoming future leaders and Finance experts.

What you'll do

• Calculate net asset values by processing daily accounting functions to ensure accurate, timely fund prices.
• Prepare financial statements for annual and interim cycles, including first drafts for audited and unaudited statements.
• Process complex futures and options for European exchange-traded derivatives and support related clearing interactions.
• Perform accounting operations such as document processing, journal processing, payments preparation, and account reconciliation.
• Execute treasury processes including transaction processing, payments, collateral management/margins, and reconciliations.
• Process trade files, confirmations, and monitor trade fails with prime broker/custodian counterparties.

What you'll need

• Academic aptitude, analytical capabilities, and excellent communication skills.
• Majoring in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is preferred (other majors are also valid).
• Desire to develop a career in the finance industry.
• Involvement in student organizations is an added advantage.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Basic experience with MS Office.
• Ability to provide management information as required to support business unit decision making.
