Asset Manager - Fund Accounting - Assistant Manager

Overview

Assistant Manager (Asset Manager – Fund Accounting) responsible for ensuring accurate NAV/yield processing and meeting SLAs through oversight of day-to-day fund accounting activities.

What you'll do

• Monitor, review, and validate daily calculations and processing for accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure adherence to controls in daily pricing, including accurate G/L and/or balances.
• Prepare timely, accurate management reporting and maintain issue logs.
• Research, resolve, and escalate exceptions and discrepancies as required.
• Reconcile discrepancies with other shared service teams, external clients, and Client Operations.
• Oversee adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and coordinate critical information flow.
• Assist with workflow management, technology enhancement suggestions, and document procedure/database updates.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience in a related accounting or finance field (preferred).
• Good understanding of financial services and investment products.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work on MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT).
• Graduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience (preferred).
• Comfortable working in North America (as stated).
