Finance Operations - Senior Associate

Overview

Senior Associate – Finance Operations supporting U.S. accounting and finance operations, including close activities, technical accounting schedules, and U.S. financial reporting.

What you’ll do

• Drive and oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes.
• Lead general ledger operations, including accurate ledger postings and GL hygiene.
• Own complex accounting schedules, including intangible/goodwill amortization.
• Conduct and review complex bank, intercompany, and GL reconciliations.
• Review U.S. state/local tax filings and coordinate with external tax advisors.
• Oversee intercompany validations, eliminations, funding transfers, and transfer pricing calculations.
• Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for audits.

What you’ll need

• Have 3–4 years of experience in U.S. accounting, financial reporting, or audit.
• Hold an MBA (Finance) or M.Com or be semi-qualified CA.
• Have advanced MS Excel skills for complex data analysis, financial modeling, and reconciliations.
• Have hands-on experience with an enterprise ERP system, preferably Oracle NetSuite.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and month-end close mechanics.
• Be able to manage deliverables across U.S. and India time zones with confidentiality.
• Be comfortable with shift hours from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM IST.
