Assistant Engineer - QA

Overview

Assistant Engineer – QA is responsible for building and executing quality assurance for products and incoming goods, including inspections, supplier quality, and equipment calibration. The role also covers analysis and repair of returned goods while ensuring quality standards and documentation.

What you'll do

• Develop, implement, and maintain a Quality Assurance System.
• Create overall quality plans for products/parts as per drawings/specifications.
• Execute quality control for incoming goods, including special inspections.
• Organize and execute first article inspections (FAI) with product management.
• Conduct risk analysis and identify critical control points during production.
• Coordinate calibration/validation of measuring and monitoring equipment via approved service providers.

What you'll need

• Qualification option: Diploma with 2+ years of working experience in QA, manufacturing, or products.
• OR qualification option: Bachelor of Engineering with 3+ years of working experience in QA, manufacturing, or products.
• Experience/knowledge focus: electrical/electronics 60% and mechatronics/mechanical 40%.
• Knowledge of standards, norms, and tolerances (IPC, DIN etc.).
• Awareness of ISO 9001 / IRIS.
• Awareness of ESD and use of QC tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA, control plan).
