Assistant Finance Manager, Finance

Overview

Assistant Finance Manager responsible for financial reporting, month-end close, regulatory and tax compliance, treasury support and internal controls.

What you'll do

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in month-end close related activities, including posting accounting entries and responding to queries raised on month-end closing activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory reports to regulators.
• Assist in processing vendor payments.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital management, and coordinate with banks for fixed deposit placement and maturity.
• Perform expense analysis and ensure proper accounting of all operating expenses.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
• Manage timely and accurate filing of all tax returns (direct and indirect taxes) and ensure compliance with applicable laws including Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
• Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy of financial records and compliance with company policies.

What you'll need

• Chartered Accountant with 5 – 6 years of working experience in accounting and financial reporting in multinational corporations preferred.
• Good communication skills, verbal and written.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge in local tax areas.
• Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
• Able to work independently and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Hands-on knowledge of SAP.
