Overview

Assistant Manager role supporting airline Revenue Accounting, focused on month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and related closure activities.

What you'll do

• Prepare, validate, and post month-end revenue accounting journals with supporting work papers.
• Complete end-of-month closing journals and related reclassification entries.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for a defined portfolio of accounts and ensure resolution of items.
• Handle revenue accounting adjustments including merchant fees, chargebacks, and commission accounting.
• Ensure journals are documented and supported for compliance and audit readiness.
• Investigate unusual balances, movements, and aged reconciling items; escalate unresolved exceptions.

What you'll need

• CA/ACCA/CMA education.
• 0-1 years of accounting experience in record-to-report, revenue accounting, or general ledger functions.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of journal entries, accrual accounting, revenue accounting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• GST/VAT accounting and month-end close process knowledge.
• Good English verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid passport.
