Assistant Vice President Automation Engineer with Java and Selenium

Overview

Serve as an AVP-level Automation Engineer focused on Java and Selenium-based UI and API testing for Front Office Trading Systems in an investment banking technology environment.

What you'll do

• Develop automation scripts and framework libraries for UI and API testing.
• Define test plans and test cases for functional and end-to-end testing.
• Drive in-sprint automation and champion automation best practices.
• Perform root cause analysis and manage defect fix and retest cycles through sign-off.
• Produce test reports and communicate delivery health to stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot Linux, container, virtualization, and storage environments.
• Mentor team members and collaborate with global QA, development, and product teams.

What you'll need

• QA delivery experience for Front Office Trading Systems.
• Strong experience in the Investment Banking Markets Technology domain.
• Hands-on UI and API automation experience.
• Strong Java programming skills.
• Expertise with Selenium WebDriver and Playwright.
• Experience with Git, CI tools, and Cucumber automation frameworks.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and global teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Single Dealer Platforms.
• FX and Local Market experience.
