Assistant Vice President - Sr Operations Manager

Overview

Manage a unit for a site, region, or product line within the bank's internal operations, leading staff performance, development and talent planning while overseeing budget, expenses, reporting and forecasting.

What you'll do

• Manage staffing levels and capacities, prioritize employee development through effective coaching and training, and share constructive feedback to drive Operational Excellence.
• Oversee end-to-end processes and ensure adherence to bank and regulatory policy and procedures when making decisions that impact various operations and product lines.
• Develop and analyze procedures to enhance unit and/or product-related activities, and oversee budget and expense management, reporting, and forecasting for designated areas.
• Implement improvements to drive growth in overall processes and identify data, metrics, and key performance indicators to measure process effectiveness.
• Align bank priorities and strategies to employee metrics and goals, evaluate employee progress, and recognize, encourage, and improve team performance to support an inclusive work environment.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve highly complex problems, and develop and implement new processes to improve operating efficiency and ensure accuracy of workflow.
• Lead and encourage the identification, escalation and resolution of potential risks.
• Recruit, onboard and develop talent, and support talent mobility for career growth.
