Associate 2 – Internal Audit Control Testing, RC - GRC AITH Core, Advisory

Overview

Associate 2 role in PwC’s Advanced Innovation and Technology Hub (AITH) supporting Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) across internal audit and controls testing, including SOX/IFC engagements.

What you'll do

• Lead and execute internal audit and controls testing engagements.
• Review team members’ work for technical accuracy, quality, and completeness.
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of controls.
• Manage stakeholder interactions and engagement-level coordination.
• Prepare and review walkthroughs, testing workpapers, observations, and Risk and Control Matrices (RCMs).
• Ensure delivery meets engagement objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

What you'll need

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in internal audit, controls testing, and IFC/SOX testing.
• Experience using recognized internal audit and controls testing methodologies/frameworks.
• Mandatory skill sets include internal audit, internal controls review, and IFC/SOX controls testing.
• Workstream management, quality review, and stakeholder coordination capability.
• RCM preparation/review, walkthroughs, control design assessment, and operating effectiveness testing.
• Business process expertise covering areas including P2P, O2C, inventory management, R2R, HR & payroll, production, and maintenance.
• Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills with Excel-based data analysis.
