Associate Accounting Specialist

Overview

Provide consistent cost accounting support services and reporting to stakeholders as an Associate Accounting Specialist.

What you'll do

• Generate and review reports for Global Cost Product Cost Estimates (PCE), with an overview of product cost estimates results.
• Create and maintain accounting segments for Global Material IDs (GMID) on requests received through PMR tools or the functional mailbox.
• Coordinate and reconcile inventory counts using the paper reconciliation process for stock take observations.
• Review cost centers, cycle counting, and participate in annual budgeting.
• Represent the team on new projects, work process changes and improvements, and Robotic Process Automation, working with other Finance and Cost Accounting teams.
• Create and maintain thorough documentation for CAEC work processes, and create and implement work process improvements or automations as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and provide solutions to operational or analytical problems using established procedures and practices.
• Handle multiple priorities from multiple sources.

What you'll need

• Qualified CMA/CA with 2+ years of costing or relevant experience, OR Inter CMA/Inter CA/MBA with 5+ years of costing and accounting experience, OR B.Com/M.Com or a relevant field and/or 5+ years of costing and accounting experience.
• Highly motivated with strong business interest and desire to act as a business partner.
• Team player with a proactive communication style.
• Strong analytical and process improvement skills.
• Strong knowledge of SAP, all MS Apps (Excel, Notes, Word, Teams and PPT), automation tools, Power BI and Diamond System reporting tools.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
