Associate Accounts Payable

Overview

Join the Finance & Accounting team as an Associate Accounts Payable professional, processing invoices and payments while maintaining accuracy and compliance with financial controls.

What you'll do

• Process vendor invoices within agreed timelines.
• Code invoices and apply proper accounting treatment.
• Verify invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and supporting documents.
• Process vendor payments through bank transfers, checks, ACH, and other methods.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Maintain Accounts Payable records and support closing activities.
• Assist with reporting, audits, and process improvement initiatives.

What you'll need

• 0–3 years of Accounts Payable or Finance & Accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Experience with invoice and payment processing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Experience with vendor reconciliation and query resolution.
• Understanding of GST/VAT, withholding tax, and invoice compliance requirements.
• Experience in a shared services or global finance environment.
