Associate Content Analyst

Overview

Associate Content Analyst role updating financial statement data (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, footnotes and segment data) in LSEG's database to feed ratio analytics and downstream products.

What you'll do

• Process and maintain data accurately and in a timely manner in databases using database and financial knowledge.
• Ensure data accuracy, timeliness and completeness are maintained as per company standards.
• Develop expertise in database and financial knowledge through continuous learning and development.
• Build up knowledge of financial regulations and market practices/conventions in relevant markets.
• Maximize usage of available tools/support to maintain/improve content quality during daily operations.
• Adhere to dynamic process/MoW changes, data operations standards and current data policies and procedures.
• Deliver high productivity and quality data as per expected performance standards.
• Proactively identify, escalate and resolve data problems.
• Communicate and liaise with internal and external departments for resolution of data queries as per established process.
• Test new database/application releases where appropriate, providing expert user feedback.

What you'll need

• Very good understanding of accounting concepts.
• Ability to interpret the correlation between financial statements and understand what these statements mean and what their components do.
• Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP.
• Experience in financial markets.
• Experience in doing deep research and an eye for detail.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Excel and Teams.
• Quick learner with a high level of agility.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Flexibility to work extended hours depending upon business requirements.
• Flexibility to work in different shifts at different points in time, including night shifts.
