Content Analyst

Overview

Associate Content Analyst in the Research & Estimates group, responsible for collecting, reviewing and analyzing earnings estimates information received from contributors around the world on publicly traded companies.

What you'll do

• Process and maintain data accurately and in a timely manner onto databases using technical and financial knowledge.
• Communicate and liaise with internal teams for resolution of data queries.
• Understand the consensus and comparable Actuals.
• Understand and interpret estimates available in the research reports.
• Understand and interpret Actuals and Guidance from a company's earnings release.
• Develop expertise in data related issues.
• Build up knowledge of financial regulations, Accounting Standards and market practices/conventions in relevant markets.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, timeliness and completeness per company standards for the covered product/market.
• Support specific projects, as assigned by manager.
• Adhere to change control procedures, data operations standards and current data policies and procedures.

What you'll need

• MBA, M.com or a related analytical field.
• Ability to work in a time critical environment.
• Estimates content knowledge and process knowledge of global markets.
• Solid understanding of the financial markets.
• Solid understanding of financial accounting.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Communicate by email in a coherent and professional manner.
• Ability to work within a team and to build interpersonal relationships.
• Solid understanding of MS Office, particularly advanced MS Excel.
• Customer oriented.
• Good analytical and data mining skills.
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Ability to use the Internet in an effective and appropriate manner.
• Basic knowledge about MS Office.

Nice to have

• Ability to use in-house database (training will be provided).

Details

• Location: Bangalore, India (Tower E, RMZ Infinity).
• Flexibility to work in shifts is a must.
