Associate Developer - IT

Overview

Associate Developer – IT responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting data engineering and analytics solutions. The role focuses on Snowflake data warehousing, Python ETL pipelines, and enterprise reporting and analytics.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain Snowflake stored procedures, tasks, streams, and data pipelines.
• Build and support Python ETL/ELT frameworks for multiple source systems.
• Develop scalable solutions within the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
• Optimize Snowflake data ingestion, transformations, and query performance.
• Implement data quality checks, error handling, monitoring, and logging.
• Gather requirements and deliver analytical solutions with business and cross-functional teams.
• Support application development, troubleshooting, enhancements, and production activities.

What you'll need

• 1.5 to 3 years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or data warehouse development.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on Snowflake experience.
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational data models.
• Experience developing Python-based ETL pipelines.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with databases such as Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
• Understanding of data validation, data quality, and troubleshooting techniques.

Nice to have

• Experience with Pandas, PySpark, SQLAlchemy, or Snowpark.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Exposure to Tableau, Power BI, or MicroStrategy.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of Airflow, Azure Data Factory, Informatica, or similar tools.
