Associate Director - US TAX 1065 (Hyderabad/ Bangalore)

Overview

Associate Director leading the US Tax 1065 team in an afternoon shift, managing tax staff and client deliverables for SS&C GlobeOp Financial Services.

What you'll do

• Ensure the team operates effectively and within SS&C guidelines and standards.
• Be responsible for assigned client deliverables and review assigned tax deliverables.
• Assist the SVP in setting departmental policies, procedures and standards, and maintain and monitor them.
• Act as a technical and knowledge resource to the business unit.
• Allocate client deliverables across staff levels and monitor staff timesheets and weekly workload.
• Document and maintain a file of all tax-related issues, resolutions, positions and methodologies by fund.
• Set up and attend meetings with the accounting group to identify key issues, increase fund accounting knowledge and improve information flow.
• Build client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of client business.
• Train all staff in relevant tax matters and comment on staff performance reviews.
• Manage day-to-day activities and supervise tax staff.
• Oversee implementation and assignment of new clients and assist the SVP with review of offering documents and partnership agreements in conjunction with counsel.
• Assist the SVP with value-added services and consultation on high-level tax matters.
• Ensure internal and external communications are timely and of high quality, and monitor quality assurance.
• Promote a positive company image in all internal and external communications.
• Perform timely and regular reporting to the SVP and other senior management.
• Communicate with clients and accounting firms on a regular basis and document relevant matters.
• Resolve issues and address high-level client requests.
