Associate Engineer

Overview

Associate Engineer (Senior Engineer / Technical Specialist) for engineering development and elevator design work based in Chennai (GEC - ITEC).

What you'll do

• Develop demanding concepts and customized engineering solutions.
• Lead global engineering stakeholder responsibilities across development projects.
• Analyze contracts and specifications, then select products for required solutions.
• Design solutions/components for customer-specific requirements.
• Create drawings, engineering structures, or other relevant engineering outputs.
• Consider safety and sustainability, including environmentally sustainable designs when possible.

What you'll need

• 5+ years total experience.
• Experience in elevator background (layout experience preferred).
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Experience with Elevator General Arrangement Drawings.
• Exposure to EN, SS550, and GB codes is preferable.
• B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
