Engineer - Structures (US Water)

Overview

Engineer (Structures) for the Water team, leading delivery of structural design work for North American projects.

What you'll do

• Prepare design reports and structural design calculations including loads and stresses.
• Supervise and guide junior engineers on projects per client requirements.
• Work on water retaining structures and other concrete structures.
• Provide design input to CAD/BIM and coordinate with CAD staff for drawings.
• Liaise with other team members and disciplines to maintain design integrity.
• Ensure compliance with Arcadis business management system and Health & Safety management.

What you'll need

• Minimum 6 to 10 years of experience in structural design engineering.
• Sound technical knowledge with familiarity with US codes, standards, and practices.
• Knowledge of structural engineering software, with basic knowledge of Staad Pro and AutoCAD.
• Basic knowledge of ETABS, Robot, Mathcad, Master series, and Revit/BIM is expected.
• Good command of Excel and preparation of spreadsheets for design calculations.
• Working in a project management role with project management experience.
