Overview
Senior Structural Engineer to lead structural analysis and design for residential, commercial, and institutional buildings using Indian and international design codes.
What you'll do
- Perform structural analysis and design of RCC and steel structures for building projects.
- Develop design solutions compliant with Indian codes and project specifications.
- Carry out seismic analysis and design per IS 1893 and IS 13920.
- Prepare design calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Review and check structural designs prepared by junior engineers and external consultants.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, geotechnical teams, and other stakeholders.
- Use Eurocodes or American standards (ACI, ASCE, AISC) for international projects.
What you'll need
- Over 7 years of expertise in the building sector.
- Strong proficiency in Indian standards (IS codes), including seismic design.
- Working knowledge of international codes such as Eurocodes and American standards (ACI/ASCE/AISC).
- Proficiency in structural analysis/design software including ETABS, STAAD, SAFE, or SAP2000.
Nice to have
- Experience in global design centers (GDCs) in India handling international projects.
- Exposure to international projects (Middle East, Europe, USA, etc.).
- Client interaction and design management experience.
- Mentoring experience with junior engineers (implied as “mentor junior engineers”).
