Overview
Structure Engineer (Buildings) to develop structural designs, perform analysis, and deliver structural engineering outputs for complex industrial and power infrastructure projects.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute structural designs for industrial buildings, power plants, substations, and HVDC projects.
- Perform detailed structural analysis and calculations to ensure integrity and safety.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural solutions with other systems.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and structural engineering reports.
- Conduct site visits to assess structures and monitor construction progress against specifications.
- Manage project timelines and resources for structural engineering deliverables.
- Present structural design concepts in client meetings and address technical inquiries.
What you'll need
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in structural design for industrial buildings, power plants, substations, or HVDC projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Proficient knowledge of relevant building codes and standards.
- Expertise in structural analysis software such as Staad, SAP2000, or ETABS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Familiarity with BIM software, preferably Revit Structure.
- Exposure in design structures of electrical substations, transmission towers, low-rise buildings, and industrial buildings.
