Project engineer- Traction Power supply

Overview

Project Engineer for Traction Power Supply, responsible for detailed design and bid support for traction power projects and EPC delivery.

What you'll do

• Manage design and engineering for large, complex traction power projects including compliance and design phases.
• Prepare technical specifications and proposal inputs for bids, including design basis and feasibility reports.
• Support tendering with preliminary design documentation, drawings, bill of quantities, and engineering man-hour estimates.
• Interface with clients, contractors, consultants, utility authorities, and railway operators for stakeholder management.
• Perform engineering management during design reviews, technical workshops, value engineering studies, and risk assessments.
• Provide site support across procurement, manufacturing, installation, testing, and commissioning.

What you'll need

• 8 to 12 years of experience in Railway Electrification and Traction Power Systems.
• At least 5 years in EPC Metro/RRTS/High-Speed Rail/Mainline Railway projects.
• Experience managing detailed design engineering and support for procurement, installation, and testing/commissioning.
• Proven experience as engineering design on at least 1 or 2 major EPC railway projects.
