Project Engineer-Primary

Overview

Project Engineer (Primary) for Linxon GETS-Chennai Engineering Team, supporting effective project unit operations across international T&D substation work.

What you'll do

• Evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques and procedures to execute engineering assignments.
• Provide technical support for installation and commissioning activities.
• Prepare project documentation within scope of deliverables.
• Develop tender engineering deliverables within short timelines while maintaining quality.
• Ensure completeness of assigned packages and correct substation system function.
• Secure engineering development completeness, including inter-discipline checks and documentation storage.

What you'll need

• 6–10 years of experience in substation design with HV equipment and overall system design focus.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical/Power Engineering.
• Sound knowledge of AIS & GIS transmission and distribution substation engineering up to 500kV.
• Knowledge on BESS, with advantage for prior BESS project experience.
• ANSI/IEEE standards knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of NESC, NFPA 70, NFPA 780, and NFPA 850 desired.
