Associate Engineer

Overview

Associate Engineer responsible for creating, implementing, and improving engineering designs, processes, techniques, tooling, and machinery to meet customer requirements and maximize product quality.

What you'll do

• Create new designs and resolve issues in manufacturing or building sequences.
• Ensure design acceptance and manufacturing readiness.
• Adopt new technologies and processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
• Plan and improve engineering procedures and operations for reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with functional areas (marketing, purchasing, manufacturing) to deliver customer and dealer-network design solutions.

What you'll need

• Degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.
• Basic understanding of information capture, documentation, and auditable record keeping.
• Basic understanding of standard operating procedures (SOP) and evaluating SOPs.
• Basic understanding of analytical thinking, including root-cause analysis and alternative solutions.
• Basic understanding of effective business communication (verbal and written).
• Basic understanding of design for manufacturability (DFM) principles and tools.
• Basic understanding of engineering in a manufacturing environment.
