Associate, Full Stack Developer

Overview

Build and support frontend and full-stack web applications and digital experiences as part of the Digital Platforms & Experiences team. Work across the software development lifecycle with global project teams to deliver features and products on an Agile roadmap.

What you'll do

• Spearhead frontend development, architecting and building projects.
• Leverage AI in daily development and testing activities.
• Participate from inception to delivery of features and products on a results-oriented product roadmap.
• Help the team continuously improve processes and ways of working.
• Work with project managers, technical leads, business owners and analysts through the entire SDLC.
• Understand and refine systems requirements while working in an Agile model.
• Participate in setting coding standards and guidelines for web applications.
• Identify and detail best practices.
• Understand and support existing systems.
• Resolve operations issues while working with engineering staff located across the globe.

What you'll need

• Experience supporting Unix/Linux platforms.
• Experience with one of the frontend frameworks; Angular is preferred.
• Knowledge of core JavaScript.
• Experience with at least one JavaScript library such as rxjs or ngrx.
• Experience with HTML and CSS.
• Ability to write clean, future-proof code with proper unit testing.
• Knowledge of at least one distributed version control system, ideally Git.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Willingness to work with global project teams spread across several time zones.
• Understanding of Agile project management disciplines, with an emphasis on Scrum.
• Strong teamwork, communication and time management abilities.

Nice to have

• Knowledge and interest in the financial services industry domain.
• Good understanding of designing and architecture of applications according to web standards and security standards.
• Experience with Open Container Initiative (OCI) container packaging and runtime, Cloud-Native distributed containerized microservice orchestration, and application packaging and deployment configuration frameworks.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Experience with React.

Details

• Location: Mumbai, India.
• Hybrid work model: at least 4 days in the office per week, with flexibility to work from home 1 day a week.
• Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
