Overview
Support identity and access management for infrastructure systems and applications as an IAM Analyst reporting to the IAM Lead. Manage access controls, identity lifecycles, IAM platform operations, risk remediation and operational support for a 24x7 environment.
What you'll do
- Manage the complete user-account lifecycle for applications integrated with Microsoft Active Directory and external applications not integrated with AD, including provisioning, deprovisioning, monitoring, securing and deactivation.
- Process daily application and system access requests, validate access-change requests from Human Resources, and grant or deny access according to employee job responsibilities and approved authorization.
- Enforce IAM policies and procedures, identify discrepancies between assigned and required access rights, and take corrective action.
- Conduct recurring access reviews and audits, identify dormant, orphaned or inappropriate accounts and records, disable them and remove access as required.
- Support IAM control activities across infrastructure systems using the enterprise IAM platform.
- Manage Active Directory permissions through role-based access control and manage access and rulesets for Microsoft 365 shared resources, including distribution lists, shared calendars and shared mailboxes.
- Configure, manage and validate automated workflows in the IAM platform.
- Manage the IAM Help Desk ticket queue from receipt through resolution, including ticket creation and updates, triage, troubleshooting, escalation, incident documentation and reporting, user communication, training and closure comments.
- Participate in audits and risk assessments, identify potential access risks and threats, and implement approved remediation and audit recommendations.
- Document and maintain IAM processes, procedures and repeatable workflows.
- Help develop automated systems and strategies that reduce repeatable manual tasks while maintaining a secure environment.
- Coordinate with IT Operations and IAM support teams on platform troubleshooting, application upgrades and product releases, including validating upgrade needs against release notes.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders across ACC and its business-partner community.
- Maintain working knowledge of evolving IAM practices and strategies and communicate relevant improvements to team members and leadership.
- Support a 24x7 operational environment through scheduled rotation and on-call coverage for US nights and weekends, US and India holidays, incidents, critical production events and business-continuity needs.
- Perform other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
What you'll need
- Proficiency in the secure and responsible use of generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot and Gemini.
- Experience securing AI-enabled applications and services by applying identity, authentication, authorization, privileged-access and governance practices to AI workloads and platforms.
- Strong knowledge of IAM concepts, trends and role-based access control methods.
- Hands-on knowledge of IAM technologies such as Microsoft Active Directory and LDAP, together with an understanding of ITIL processes.
- Excellent written and verbal business-English communication skills, with the ability to provide strong customer service to internal and external stakeholders across cultures and time zones.
- Strong project- and time-management skills, with a systematic, organized approach and high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-growing, rapidly changing environment.
- Sound judgment and initiative, including the ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Ability to think logically and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to learn new concepts and software quickly and take a proactive approach to platform enhancements.

- Ability to build relationships and liaise confidently with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- At least three years of demonstrated experience in a large-scale enterprise IAM or enterprise IT environment.
- At least three years of experience working with identity and access management software and systems.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security or a related field; equivalent work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate.
- Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (Exam AZ-900).
- CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+).
- CompTIA SecAI+ (Security AI+).
Nice to have
- Experience with IT service-management platforms; ServiceNow is preferred.
- ITIL Foundation is a plus.

- Regular, full-time, exempt corporate role.
- Based in Bengaluru, India.
- Working hours will provide meaningful daily overlap with US Central Time.
- Participates in rotating on-call coverage for US nights and weekends.
- Provides coverage on US and India holidays to support uninterrupted operations.
