Overview
Associate Industrial Engineer (P1) supporting factory performance improvement across multiple wafer fabrication sites at the Central Industrial Engineering team.
What you'll do
- Support development and maintenance of cross-site capacity models and utilization analyses.
- Assist cycle time improvement via bottleneck analysis, WIP management, and line balancing.
- Analyze factory performance data to increase throughput, productivity, and equipment utilization.
- Develop and automate reports, dashboards, and analytical tools using SQL, Python, and Power BI.
- Support validation of manufacturing scheduling data, forecasting models, and planning assumptions.
- Run scenario analysis and what-if modeling for capacity and resource requirements.
- Document methodologies and present findings to technical and operations teams.
What you'll need
- 0–2 years of Industrial Engineering or analytical experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Data Analytics, or related engineering discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and perform quantitative analysis.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, and Power BI is required to build analytics tools.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively within geographically distributed teams.
