Associate Manager, Commodity Management and Sourcing

Overview

Associate Manager supporting global category management and sourcing with analytical, commercial, and governance responsibilities.

What you'll do

• Deliver spend analysis, market intelligence, dashboards, and executive insights for global category strategy execution.
• Support negotiations using cost models, benchmarks, and structured negotiation preparation; track renewals and compliance.
• Identify, size, and track cost-reduction and productivity opportunities; support finance on savings validation.
• Manage category council governance including meeting cadence, materials, action tracking, and supplier/QBR review prep.
• Partner with regional sourcing and cross-functional teams to execute global category strategies across regions.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 12-15 years of experience in category management and direct strategic sourcing to contract.
• Exposure to global suppliers.
• Experience supporting global or regional sourcing teams in a matrix organization.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Experience in HVAC, rotating equipment, or engineered component supply base.
• Exposure to global negotiations, contract management, or productivity programs.
• Experience working with stakeholders across APAC, EMEA, and Americas.
