Overview
The SCM Tender Specialist leads and executes supply chain activities during tender and bid phases, supporting Sales and Bid Management.
What you'll do
- Prepare and maintain cost databases for repetitive spend, standard products, and services.
- Conduct monthly tender list reviews with Sales and SCM to determine tender support requirements.
- Participate in tender kick-off meetings and review SCM critical inputs like scope, competition, contractual conditions, and work package structures.
- Develop tender budgets, target prices, and timelines, and align sourcing strategy with Category Management.
- Issue RFQs, evaluate supplier offers, and perform commercial and lead-time analysis.
- Negotiate pricing and terms and finalize supplier selection and pricing for tender submission.
- Maintain MIS reports and track tender KPIs including TCI, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical preferred).
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Tender SCM, Strategic Sourcing, or Bid Management.
- Experience in project-based businesses with complex products.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
- Tender and bid SCM knowledge, including strategic sourcing and supplier negotiation.
- Cost analysis and commercial evaluation skills.
- Strong cross-functional communication and attention to detail to manage multiple priorities.
