Associate - .Net Fullstack Engineer

Overview

Associate (.NET Fullstack Engineer) in Oaktree Capital Management’s Product Engineering group, building end-to-end components for a next-generation technology platform for the credit business.

What you'll do

• Own and deliver end-to-end platform components including data pipelines, backend services, and user-facing applications.
• Design and build scalable, reliable data systems for ingestion, transformation, analytics, and APIs.
• Modernize architecture and technology stack and influence design decisions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and investment teams to translate workflows into solutions.
• Act as a product owner for your domain by defining scope, prioritizing work, and iterating end-to-end delivery.
• Implement engineering practices including CI/CD, testing, observability, and feature management.
• Apply generative AI to improve engineering efficiency and enable intelligent product features.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with ownership of business-critical distributed production systems.
• Experience as a Senior/Staff/Principal Engineer designing and delivering complex enterprise, cloud-native, financial technology platforms.
• Expertise in C#, .NET Core/.NET 8+, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, and REST APIs.
• Strong full-stack development using React, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, OOP design, distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Data-intensive application experience including data modeling, event-driven architectures, ETL/data pipelines, and real-time processing.
• Proficiency with Azure, containers (Docker/Kubernetes/AKS), CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep).

Details

• Work mode: Hybrid (3 days/week from office; 2 days can opt for WFH).
• Shift: 1PM-10PM or 2PM-11PM.
• Location: Hyderabad.
