Associate, Operations

Overview

Associate role in Solutions Operations, learning loan operations and quality-checking transactions for clients within the finance operations vertical.

What you'll do

• Process trade settlement in WSO Admin, including new borrowings, increases, rollovers, pay downs and commitment reductions, maintaining accuracy standards based on client-provided information.
• Accurately process and QC daily activity, new deal closings, restructures and amendments for Loans, Bonds, ABS, Equities and CDS by reviewing source documentation and faxes from agent banks.
• Work in fast-paced environments and adapt quickly to changing business needs.
• Go beyond current tools to deliver the best solution to problems, working independently and making key decisions on projects and business-critical activities.
• Provide training to new hires and guide them through their learning curve.
• Build a collaborative environment with other departments and stakeholders to identify business needs and opportunities for improvement.
• Communicate with global business partners to understand process changes and implement them in-house.

What you'll need

• Business, Finance or Accounting background (strongly recommended).
• Strong computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong work ethic: organized, detail oriented, analytical and task driven.
