Exchange Trade Funds Operations, Associate 2

Overview

Associate 2 role in Exchange Traded Funds Operations within State Street Global Services, handling ETF basket creation, corporate action processing and client/authorized participant operations.

What you'll do

• Maintain operational accuracy and timeliness in PCF creation, baskets, corporate action processing and UCF dissemination, and ensure effective reviews and checks are performed before final delivery.
• Process corporate actions on model ETF portfolios of optimized and replicated ETFs using Bloomberg and watchlist data from index providers (S&P, MSCI, FTSE, NASDAQ, Solactive, etc.) and ensure they hit client indexes.
• Ensure effective communication and inquiry management with clients and authorized participants.
• Ensure accurate forecasting of baskets and coordinate with other internal stakeholders.
• Perform reference data updates for new funds, APs, clients, fees and reports.
• Perform periodic reconciliation to ensure accuracy of factor rates, variable fees, fixed fees and slippage fees.
• Ensure timely update of process documents, job aids, procedures and cross-trainings.
• Follow the organizational risk culture and drive control effectiveness.
• Identify and lead process improvement and efficiency projects within the team.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with a focus in Accounting, Finance, Technical or a related field.
• Self-starting with problem-solving skills.
• General understanding of financial markets and instruments.
• Attention to detail and proficient written and verbal communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word).
• Analytical skills and logical reasoning to resolve issues.
• Deadline and detail oriented.
• Willingness to work in night shift.
• Experience in Fund Accounting or NAV in ETF/MF/Hedge Funds, or experience in corporate action processing, trade operations, or relevant investment operations with a reputed global firm.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in trade settlement, corporate action or fund accounting.
• Knowledge of ETF products and basket creations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and Excel skills.
