Associate – Payroll Control

Overview

The Associate – Payroll Control supports governance, risk, control, compliance, and oversight for payroll operations across assigned countries and entities.

What you'll do

• Execute and maintain payroll control frameworks and processes.
• Review payroll inputs, outputs, reconciliations, exceptions, and approvals for compliance with controls.
• Support payroll risk assessments and ensure mitigation measures are implemented.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, labour, and social security requirements, including tracking regulatory changes.
• Support internal and external payroll audits, including remediation and closure of findings.
• Monitor payroll vendor performance against SLAs and KPIs and support vendor governance.
• Prepare governance reporting and participate in governance committees and operational reviews.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
• 10-15 years of experience in Payroll Operations, Payroll Governance, HR Shared Services, Compliance, Audit, or related functions.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, controls, taxation, social security, and labour regulations.
• Experience working with payroll vendors and outsourced delivery models is desirable.
• Hands-on experience in ERPs such as SAP or Workday.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
