Associate Presales Consultant- Palo Alto

Overview

Work with the Sales Team to provide presales technical support, deliver tailored demonstrations and qualify opportunities for customers and prospects.

What you'll do

• Assist Account/Product Managers with qualification of opportunities by providing presales technical support.
• Provide presales technical support and deliver deep dive product demonstrations to customers and business partners.
• Deliver training to partners on products and solutions.
• Contribute to and refine technical RFP/RFI responses.
• Conduct customer demonstrations and presentations.
• Coordinate and manage technical validation events (POC).
• Coordinate and manage POC assets.
• Participate in conferences, shows and exhibitions when appropriate and requested.
• Recommend and influence market content.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What you'll need

• In-depth knowledge of vendor products and general networking technologies including TCP/IP and DNS.
• Experience with switches, routers and firewalls in Intranet/Internet environments.
• Good network and security knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with ability to articulate complex technology simply.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
• Self-motivated and flexible.
• Ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of requests, including unplanned/unscheduled requests.
• Ability to execute instructions and request clarification when needed.
• Ability to be sensitive to the needs, concerns and feelings of others.
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
