Associate Principal Engineer

Overview

Associate Principal Engineer to guide software architecture and development, creating architectural approaches and a unified vision for software design and implementation.

What you'll do

• Understand systems from functional and technical perspectives.
• Design software systems and ensure compliance with architecture requirements.
• Ensure technical quality across security, scalability, interoperability, and stability.
• Develop and recommend solutions for product components and changes for products.
• Conduct periodic code reviews and monitor application architecture.
• Investigate, analyze, and document reported defects; handle ambiguity and collaborate across groups.
• Develop high-level product specifications considering integration and feasibility.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience as Associate Principal Engineer.
• Experience developing web-based software using .net, .net core, .net 5/6, WebAPI, SOLR, Elasticsearch, and SQL Server.
• Exposure to latest Microsoft technologies and web standards including JavaScript and jQuery.
• Strong understanding of architectural concepts including cloud development, serverless architecture, distributed systems, event-driven architecture, RESTful/MicroServices.
• Understanding of scalability, availability, performance, and OOP concepts, design patterns and principles (e.g., SOLID).
• Understanding of NoSQL, Graph databases, and SQL databases.
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills to drive to root cause and solution.
