Associate Security Analyst

Overview

Associate Security Analyst role on Bloomreach’s Global Information Security & Technology team, supporting a 24/7 Security Operations Team to protect its e-commerce environment.

What you'll do

• Monitor and analyze security, system, application, and infrastructure logs for events and potential incidents.
• Use security tools and dashboards to detect anomalous activities.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure for security-related events.
• Track threats and vulnerabilities, and coordinate/escalate as appropriate.
• Work with application security, GRC, and legal teams on active incidents and investigations.
• Participate in major incident calls and document incident report summaries.
• Document and execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain runbooks/playbooks/knowledge base articles.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of hands-on experience as part of a 24*7 Security Operations team OR an equivalent degree/specialization with a proven project in relevant cybersecurity areas.
• Hands-on experience or deep knowledge using SIEM, SOAR, and EDR (including modules like TI, VM, DLP).
• Exposure or experience using CSPM tools such as SentinelOne, Falcon Horizon, Wiz, Sysdig, Prisma cloud, or Microsoft Defender.
• Exposure or experience assessing, interpreting, and managing vulnerabilities using relevant tools.
• Knowledge of either AWS or GCP is must.
• Understanding of risk framework and ability to assess emerging trends and threats.
• Knowledge of NIST framework, OSINT standards, and MITRE ATT&CK framework (cybersecurity incident lifecycle advantage).
