Overview
Cloud Security Engineer focused on securing and monitoring ClearView’s cloud environment, with an emphasis on Azure, SIEM engineering, and compliance monitoring/testing.
What you'll do
- Support secure cloud migration of on-premises resources to the cloud, focusing on Azure workloads.
- Configure, monitor, and improve Azure security controls and baseline configurations.
- Support identity governance in Microsoft Entra ID, including conditional access and privileged role assignments.
- Author, deploy, and monitor Azure Policy initiatives to enforce configuration standards.
- Monitor cloud-native security tools and SIEM-related systems; help triage and escalate alerts.
- Assist with incident investigations using log collection, basic analysis, and documentation.
- Maintain cloud security documentation, dashboards, and playbooks; support audits with evidence gathering.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in technical/information security or equivalent practical experience.
- 4–7 years of relevant security experience with meaningful exposure to Azure and/or AWS.
- Familiarity with security operations and endpoint protection.
- Strong interest in cloud security.
- Comfort working with cloud consoles, logs, dashboards, and basic scripting/automation tools.
- Primary interest in cloud security with experience in (preferred examples): Microsoft Entra ID, NSGs, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Policy.
Nice to have
- Exposure to securing containerized environments such as image scanning and AKS/container runtime security.
- AWS Certified Security – Specialty, AZ-500, Security+, CySA+, or other relevant information security certifications.
- Cloud-native monitoring/log analysis experience; SIEM platform experience such as Rapid7.
- Familiarity with Windows endpoints; macOS knowledge and basic networking concepts.
