Associate Security Engineer (Remote)

Overview

Security Engineer for the Threat Intelligence & Detection Engineering (TIDE) team, focused on building threat detections, automation, and security analytics.

What you'll do

• Drive security analytics, automation, and tactical/strategic awareness for potential security concerns.
• Research attacker techniques against enterprise technologies.
• Establish automation for detection and response at scale.
• Create and mature resilient operational capabilities.
• Develop scalable systems with cross-functional teams to automate detection and remediation.

What you'll need

• Experience in Security Engineering, Incident Response, or related fields.
• Experience with security detection and response technology (SOAR & SIEM) products.
• Experience with big-data processing tools (e.g., LogScale, Splunk, Kibana).
• Experience curating network and host-based detections.
• Experience constructing novel attack scenarios and triaging/remediating abuse or vulnerabilities.
• Strong understanding of operating systems, file systems, and memory on Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
