Engineering Manager, Cybersecurity Products

Overview

Engineering Manager for a small team building AI-powered cybersecurity products. You will set technical direction, prototype and ship products using frontier models to defend code and infrastructure, and stay close to customers to guide the roadmap.

What you'll do

• Lead and grow an engineering team through hiring, performance management, and team culture.
• Prototype and ship cybersecurity products that use frontier models to defend code and infrastructure.
• Set architecture and technical direction across the full stack, from agentic systems and model orchestration to product surfaces and integrations.
• Partner with research to translate new model capabilities into shipped products.
• Collaborate with GTM, partnerships, and other product areas.
• Turn customer and security community input into product decisions and unblock the team.
• Grow the next layer of leadership on the team.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 4+ years managing engineers.
• Experience shipping cybersecurity products in production (e.g., SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, app security, threat detection, incident response, or security automation).
• Experience taking a team from prototype through first paying customers to scaled deployment.
• Hands-on and technical capability comfortable with design reviews and in the team’s code.
• Clear cross-functional communication to keep research, product, GTM, and executive partners aligned.
• Customer contact as a primary input to the roadmap.

Details

• Location-based hybrid policy: expected to be in an office at least 25% of the time.
