Overview
Software Engineer (L2) to build and scale Stytch’s core identity product on Twilio.
What you'll do
- Build backend systems powering authentication and authorization features.
- Ship new API surfaces and core authentication flows, including agentic and non-human identity use cases.
- Design and deliver customer-facing roadmap features with product and engineering leadership.
- Collaborate on architecture, integrate platform capabilities, and unblock cross-team initiatives.
- Take deep technical ownership by writing design docs, driving decisions, reviewing code, and staying close to shipped systems.
- Improve production quality and resilience using observability, incident response, and remediation.
- Mentor other engineers through pairing, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
What you'll need
- 3+ years experience designing, building, and operating high-scale mission-critical cloud production systems.
- Production-grade codebase familiarity in a modern programming language and best-practice coding standards.
- Extensive experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related industry experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work non-standard hours and participate in weekend and holiday on-call rotation.
