Staff Security Engineer - Enterprise Security

Overview

Snowflake is hiring a Staff Security Engineer for its Enterprise Security team to build and operate enterprise-scale endpoint security capabilities.

What you'll do

• Develop, maintain, and scale endpoint security solutions and contribute to architecture and strategy.
• Own the technical roadmap for endpoint security tooling as Snowflake grows.
• Build intelligent security platforms and automate security operations using AI.
• Monitor security events, investigate incidents, and build real-time detection and prevention systems.
• Run risk and threat analyses and remediate vulnerabilities end-to-end.
• Develop unified endpoint security policies and standards aligned to regulatory/compliance frameworks.
• Partner across Security, Engineering, IT, and Product to define strategy and provide technical guidance.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of hands-on information security experience focused on endpoint security.
• Proficiency in software development using Python, Go, Java, C, C++, or JavaScript, with experience in AI-assisted development.
• Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and maintaining endpoint security tools (EDR, DLP, MDM, secure browsers, AI security) across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Strong understanding of operating systems, network protocols, application platforms, and endpoint security concepts.
• Experience leading technical projects independently with data-informed decisions end-to-end.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
