Associate Software Engineer

Overview

Build internal tools, automations, AI-augmented workflows, and measurement systems that improve employee productivity. The role moves between forward-deployed engineering, shared platforms, and usage and value measurement.

What you'll do

• Embed with teams to understand workflows and build custom automations, integrations, or AI-augmented tools.
• Build agentic and LLM-powered workflows for log analysis, repetitive processes, content generation, and data wrangling.
• Generalize successful solutions into reusable internal tools, templates, and platforms.
• Integrate AI vendors and internal systems through cross-tool workflows.
• Build pipelines that aggregate and normalize tool and AI spend and usage across vendors.
• Correlate adoption with outcomes and provide spend and efficiency signals.
• Add telemetry and observability while maintaining reliability for internal tools.

What you'll need

• 2 years of experience in a software engineering role.
• Track record of shipping and independently owning workstreams.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, Java, Go, or a similar language.
• Experience building shared frameworks, internal tools, or platforms for other teams.
• Experience integrating systems through APIs.
• Experience building data pipelines or integrations across multiple sources.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
