Associate Software Engineer

Overview

Associate Software Engineer role focused on developing and maintaining software for wafer inspection systems. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to implement project goals and debug software issues.

What you'll do

• Work with cross-functional teams to implement project goals, requirements, and timelines.
• Develop software and deploy components across multiple nodes with side-by-side instances.
• Contribute to documentation/knowledge base to expedite query resolution for stakeholders.
• Triage software issues, track them, and debug to identify root causes.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and provide actionable feedback.
• Proactively identify and mitigate technical challenges and risks.

What you'll need

• MS/MTech degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Electronics/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills in C#/Java/Python.
• Knowledge of IPC techniques and tools including gRPC, REST, GraphQL, protobuf, and JSON.
• Frontend experience in Angular or React is an added advantage.
• Experience with container orchestration/management tools like Docker, K8s, and Helm charts.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like shell and Ansible for automation.
