Associate Software Engineer - Java

Overview

Associate Software Engineer responsible for developing and delivering full-stack software applications for complex aviation-related systems using Java and modern web technologies.

What you'll do

• Develop working software toward committed team objectives and iteration plans.
• Estimate user stories and tasks for sprint planning.
• Refine the backlog and clarify requirements with the Product Owner.
• Design systems for testability and test automation.
• Analyze change requests, impacts, risks, and timelines.
• Update task status and remaining effort daily.
• Raise impediments and risks to support timely solutions.

What you'll need

• Experience with Java 8+, Spring Boot 3.x, Angular 12, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.js.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ message brokers.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests using Jest.
• Experience with Git, web APIs, debugging, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with build, deployment, and CI/CD tools, including Maven, Gradle, and shell scripting.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAFe projects and processes.
• DevOps experience using Microsoft DevOps and Azure.
• Proficiency in Angular or React Native for cross-platform mobile development.
• Aviation industry experience.
• Scripting experience with JavaScript or Python.

• Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
• Relocation within India is available based on candidate eligibility.
