Job description

Overview

The Associate Specialist, Data Analytics manages the Service Catalog enterprise dataset used for regulatory reporting and other Enterprise Architecture transformation initiatives. The role supports data management, regulatory reporting, process governance, business analysis, technology enablement, and reporting and analytics solutions.

What you'll do

  • Support annual and quarterly Service Catalog Mapping and Attestation exercises across Personnel, Systems, Vendors, Real Estate, Intellectual Property, and other critical service components.
  • Perform data collection, validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance across multiple enterprise data sources.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders to resolve mapping discrepancies, data quality issues, and reporting exceptions.
  • Maintain Service Catalog metadata and alignment with Resolution Planning and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Prepare data extracts, reports, exhibits, and management information for Resolution Planning submissions and regulatory inquiries.
  • Support data ingestion activities and maintain the integrity of the Service Catalog repository.
  • Participate in stakeholder outreach, training sessions, office hours, and governance meetings related to Service Catalog processes.
  • Automate manual processes using Microsoft Access, Excel, VBA, Power Query, SQL, and Power Platform tools.
  • Develop Power BI dashboards and reports providing operational insights and performance metrics.
  • Perform root cause analysis on data issues and recommend process improvements.
  • Support data governance initiatives through monitoring, validation, and reporting activities.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Resolution Office, Data Governance, Technology, HR, Vendor Management, and business teams.
  • Assist in documenting business processes, operating procedures, and governance frameworks.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of IT experience.
  • 5 to 6 years of experience in Data Analytics.
  • 5 to 6 years of experience in Business Analysis.
  • 5 to 6 years of experience in Reporting & Dashboard Development.
  • 5 to 6 years of experience in Data Governance.
  • 5 to 6 years of experience in Regulatory Reporting.
  • 5 to 6 years of experience in Process Improvement.
  • 5 to 6 years of experience in Stakeholder Management.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, including VBA, Microsoft Access, and SQL skills.
  • Power BI, Power Apps / Power Automate.
  • SharePoint.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting.
  • Data Validation & Reconciliation.
  • Business Process Documentation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across global teams.
