Associate Specialist, Project Controls

Overview

Entry-level project controls role supporting cost, schedule, change control and forecasting activities for projects, working under direct supervision.

What you'll do

• Perform routine project controls assignments under direct supervision, solving standard problems with existing procedures.
• Record actual and committed cost and workhours.
• Support development of project variances, trending and analysis of commitments and expenditures.
• Participate in development of the project forecast and cash flow.
• Assist with administration of the change control process.
• Support development and completion of job progress milestones through scheduling.
• Support coordination with procurement and material managers and engineering work group leads pertaining to essential items of supply.
• Support identification of priorities for projects to guarantee completion.
• Contribute to forecasts and disbursements by supporting schedule analysis.
• May require accounting, financial management and customer reporting responsibilities at the project level.

What you'll need

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
