Associate Staff Engineer

Overview

Associate Staff Engineer responsible for full-stack application development, integration, and design/implementation of solutions, along with supporting UAT and production rollouts.

What you'll do

• Write and review high-quality code.
• Analyze functional requirements and client needs within the project context.
• Design overall solutions for functional and non-functional requirements, including defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks.
• Coordinate requirements, schedules, and activities to enable application development.
• Lead/support UAT and production rollouts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex bugs and propose justified solutions during code/design reviews.
• Conduct POCs to validate suggested designs/technologies against requirements.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of full-stack application development experience.
• Preferably experience in an Azure environment.
• Experience with Python, Java, and React JS.
• Integrate applications with external systems using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and integration patterns.
• Knowledge of application and API security, including authentication, authorization, access controls, session security, and MFA.
• Hands-on Git-based source control and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines for dev/test/staging/production deployments.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum with sprint planning, backlog grooming, story estimation, and iterative delivery.
