Assurance Sr Associate 1 - Life Sciences

Overview

Assurance Sr Associate 1 for the Life Sciences practice, responsible for executing audits and delivering quality client service while supporting teams and associates.

What you'll do

• Understand client needs, expectations, and relevant business and industry context.
• Apply the RSM audit approach, methodology, and tools to perform audit procedures.
• Identify risks and accounting/auditing issues and discuss them with engagement teams.
• Research technical accounting issues and develop industry expertise.
• Prepare audit reports and management letters with compliant documentation.
• Exercise professional skepticism and judgment in line with the code of ethics.
• Supervise and develop associates while coordinating audit work plans and deliverables.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s in Commerce with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• CA qualified profile requires 1+ year relevant experience.
• ACCA/CPA qualified profile requires 2+ years relevant experience.
• Strong technical skills in accounting including IFRS or GAAP and GAAS.
• Strong multi-tasking and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English with cross-border coordination.

Nice to have

• Experience in the Life Sciences industry.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, basic formulas) plus skills in Word and PowerPoint.
